FIRE SAFETY INSPECTION
One of the statutory responsibilities of the Fire Service is Fire Prevention Activities, this is done by conducting inspection on Companies, Schools, Public/Private Institutions and others Establishments within the State for Fire Safety Compliance. A total of 13,325 (Thirteen thousand three hundred and twenty five) Facilities were covered between June 2015 to December, 2017, with a view to assessing the level of compliance as regard Safety Regulation. In addition, the State Government has also intensified Public Enlightenment on Fire Safety Compliance Standard via electronic and print media, lectures, symposia and workshops for different organizations, commercial establishments, markets and major motor parks in the State.
