Mrs. Adeseye Margaret Abimbola was born on March 21, 1976 and hails from Eredo, Epe, Lagos State, Nigeria. She attended St. Joseph Primary School, Ibonwon, Epe, for her First School Leaving Certificate before attaining her West African Senior School Certificate from St. Patrick Grammar School, Eredo, Epe in 1993. She was enlisted to the Lagos State Fire Service on January 18, 1995 as recruit Fireman in training on GL 04. Between 2000 and 2003, Adeseye saw the need to go back to School of Business Administration, MoshoodAbiola Polytechnic, Ogun State to obtain Ordinary National Diploma, before proceeding to Lagos State University for Bachelor of Science degree in Economics in 2010.
In the course of her selfless career, she had obtained Basic and Advance Certificates in Professional Fireman Competency and Higher Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety from the Federal College of Education, Technical, Akoka, Lagos.
She had participated in a number of fora, among is Challenges Affecting Women Firefighters by the Fire Professional Council of Southern Africa, Johannesburg, South Africa as well as being a Professional Member of the Emergency, Crisis and Risk Management Institute.
She rose to become Chief Fire Officer on 1st July, 2019 and subsequently the Acting Head, Lagos State Fire Service.
