Since safety is the bedrock of security of any State, the Agency embarked on Fire Safety Advocacy Campaign to educate, inform and enlighten the public on how to stem the tide of fire outbreaks in Lagos. The Fire Prevention and Enlightenment Departments of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service initiated Station Tours and visited Public Places e.g. Markets, Motor Parks/Garages etc. to ensure that majority of the populace are equipped with the necessary information in terms of fire prevention.
To ensure compliance and commitment to Fire Safety precautions, Public and Private School Bus drivers across the 5 Divisions of the State, Transport and Logistics stakeholders and safety officers domiciled in multinationals and public facilities were trained in the act of Fire Safety Evacuation Drill and empowered with basic safety measures.
