The procurement of Fire Apparatus for the purpose of saving lives in distress is of premium importance to the service. Therefore, the State Government have provided necessary equipment required; which includes, Boronto Skylift, Firefighting Drone, Water Tanker and utility Vehicles.

In fulfillment of electoral promise in 2019, Mr. Governor approved the recruitments of 100 personnel (Y2020) and 435 personnel (Y2022) with required educational qualifications with a six (6) month basic intensive training in Professional Fireman Competency. The professional training was completed with a Passing-out-Parade on October 27th, 2022.

  Provision of Uniforms for all Firemen in tandem with the State policy thrust of the Government to bequeath to Lagosians effective and efficient emergency responders in line with global best practices and further set operational standard, branding as well as uniformity in operating procedure. This includes Accoutrements, Ceremonial Wears to brand Officers as a new face of Fire Service.
