It will interest you to note that the Lagos State Fire Service is the Busiest and most Responsive Fire Service in the whole of Federation. From the Month of May 29, 2015 – May 29, 2016, a total of 1,948 (One Thousand Nine Hundred and Forty Eight) calls were received and promptly responded to with details as follows.

Fire Calls – 1,620
Rescue Calls – 154
Collapsed Building – 11
False Calls (Hoax) – 163

TOTAL CALLS RECEIVED- 1,948

Rescued Victims Alive – 138
Recovered Victims Suspected Dead – 97
Estimated Goods and Properties Saved- 88Billion
Estimated Goods and Properties Lost – 48Billion
